Food Hub Cookery School

Welcome to The Food Hub Cookery School at Kenton Hall Estate. Our school is set on a working farm, in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Housed in a converted cow byre we source most of our ingredients from the surrounding farm and kitchen garden. Our approach is relaxed and informal, allowing you to learn new skills, techniques and most importantly, how to make the most of seasonal ingredients. Our school is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities so whether you are an amateur cook or a food enthusiast let our courses inspire you.

We have a produce to plate philosophy using meat and vegetables produced from our farm. We produce Longhorn beef, rare breed pork and lamb as well as a range of vegetables from our kitchen garden and we have chickens too!

We work with local chefs including Peter Harrison, Sue Hudson, Mike Keen and Padmaja Kochera to offer an excellent range of courses. Whether you are a busy professional, a time pressed parent, undergraduate or school leaver we have a course for you. We offer cookery demonstrations, hands on cookery and field to fork experiences. From classic courses such as Seasonal Dinner Parties, to specialised courses like Bread Making and Indian, you’ll find a course to suit you. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere at The Food Hub Cookery School Suffolk can turn the most nervous beginner into a confident ‘foodie’.
