Bread Workshops at The Food Hub… Sue Hudson of Bread Workshops is passionate about the importance of a good, healthy diet using the best possible ingredients. Sue teaches the craft of artisan bread making. A passionate bread baker, Sue knows that the best way to learn is the ‘hands on’ approach, using quality locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, ensuring that her new bakers will dispel the myth that making bread is difficult.

Course Details…

Bring your beloved to this Valentine’s day bread workshop and share magic moments baking sweet almond and cardamom love knots, heart shaped wreaths and decorated savoury spelt plaits. Baking with your partner is great fun, so come along to learn some new skills and spend time together in the kitchen.

Recipes on this course may include:

  • Sweet almond and cardamom love knots
  • Danish “twist” bread
  • Heart shaped wreaths
  • Savoury spelt plaits

You will take home at least FOUR loaves at the end of the course and new skills for 2020. The course will run from 10.30am until 3pm and include a light lunch and tea/coffee refreshments. This course will be a fully hands on experience and include all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments and recipes for the day.
