Course Details…

Learn how to make cheese on our wonderful cheese making course. Discover the delicious world of cheese, from curds and whey to the delicious cheese taste! 

You will learn how to make 2 or 3 cheeses, soft cheese and ricotta or goats cheese. You will leave with an understanding of the separation process of curds and whey and the importance of temperature. You will also learn about the nutritional value of whey (a byproduct) and the delicious things that can be made with it. On the course you will not only make cheese but also flavoured bread rolls. Your chef tutor will explore recipes such as Foccacia and a risotto or pasta dish that uses the whey and cheese.

Recipes on this course may include:

  • Ricotta
  • Mozzarella
  • Goats Cheese
  • Garlic and herb soft cheese

The course will run from 10.00am until 1.00pm and includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions and refreshments. All the ingredients, equipment and the recipes for the day will be provided.
