This post will feature one of our ‘Truly Marvellous’ suppliers – Anmar Robinson of Crumb – Bespoke Suffolk Cakes. Not only is she extremely creative, her enthusiasm for all things ‘cake’ is infectious!
I have formed a firm friendship with Anmar since meeting her last year. We both share a passion for great customer service and offering our clients something a little different.
Anmar is a trained pastry chef from South Africa, after cooking on yachts for a number of years she now resides in the seaside town of Aldeburgh with her husband Ben. Fresh from organising her own beautiful wedding, she can identify with what brides and grooms-to-be want from their big day.
Crumb – Bespoke Suffolk Cakes is a breath of fresh air. Anmar ensures each of her creations are unique. Not only are her decorations gorgeous – she can really bake!
Popular flavours include – Vanilla sponge with white chocolate & fresh raspberry buttercream – Dark chocolate sponge with Belgian dark chocolate mousse – Rich brandy soaked fruit cake with almond marzipan.
Is your mouth watering yet? Mine certainly is! I am constantly amazed by each cake Anmar designs. The service she provides is incredibly personal – she listens to your ideas, wants and needs then turns them into a beautiful cake design! One couple said of Anmar’s creation “We are so glad Anmar took the time to get to know us and what we wanted for our wedding to be able to offer us such a great personalised service and perfect cakes!”
You can regularly taste Anmar’s delicious baking at ‘The Cragg Sisters Tea Room’ in Aldeburgh, where you will find ‘All things Tea’ and of course homemade scones in a fabulous vintage setting.
